ONE CHURCH - Kick-off

Kirken i Kulturcenteret is about to enter an exciting season. As we strive to be a beacon of hope and source of love for people of all cultures and languages throughout Copenhagen, we want to reflect our city by becoming a community that embraces a variety of backgrounds.
To that end, we are undergoing a transformation. We will no longer be four separate churches existing in one building — but rather a united church composed of different cultures, worshipping together in one common service.

Our new One Service will begin on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at Drejervej 15, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

It is our honor to invite you to this celebration, where you can experience a taste of what the future holds for the people of Copenhagen.

Practically speaking it means that we are initiating new offers for the local church and community:

CreativeLab: Creative Lab is an offer for children where creativity becomes a bridge to encounter  new friendships, and where children can learn new skills and talents. Creative Lab will have several different tracks that children can participate in. The tracks will reflect a variety of artistic expressions from around the world - including song, choir and sports.

Sunday Tracks: Every Sunday morning we will have several consecutive tracks with bible teaching. The teaching will be in Danish, English, Thai and Spanish. The teachers are passionate and competent people from the church. We believe Bible classes are an exciting initiative that many have been asking for.

Community Cafe: Every sunday after the service, we will invite the whole church in to our Community Cafe. With the Community Cafe we want a nice framework for community and socializing, so we together build an inclusive culture in relation to well-known guests and strangers. This is a place where we are curious about each other and invite people who we do not know to join us around the table.

These are just some of the new initiatives that we as a church want to put in place, all of which aim to point to the goal of making Copenhagen a better place of living.
