On Friday 26th February, the City of Copenhagen announced that an outbreak of a Covid-19 variant (South African mutation) had occurred in Copenhagen NW. Precise case numbers are unknown, but the outbreak appears to have occurred in the triangle between Frederiksborgvej, Frederikssundsvej and Glasvej. This is mere hundreds of metres from our facility on Drejervej. Please keep the residents of NW and greater Copehagen in your prayers at this time.
The government recommends all residents of NW get tested this weekend. They also recommend minimal movement in the area. Kirken i Kulturcenter continues to abide all government recommendations regarding Covid-19. As a result, there will be changes to planned in-person services.
In-person mini-services were due to occur in both Danish & English at 16.30 on Sunday 28th February. These fully-booked services will now no longer occur on this date. All registered participants & volunteers have been contacted and online registration closed. We proceed on the basis that the services will re-commence on Sunday 7th March.
The online service will still occur this Sunday 28th February at 11.00. In preparation for the possibility of Covid-19 related disruptions, services have been pre-recorded.
We therefore look forward to seeing you online as Mikael Wandt Laursen, General Secretary of Frikirkenet, begins the first of a timely 3-part series entitled Pandemic: Meaningless?
