Kirken i Kulturcenteret seeks new Children’s Pastor!
For Kirken i Kulturcenteret Children’s Church is an absolute priority! Therefor, throughout 2018 we have put great efforts into a variety of areas:
- Together with the National organization Børn&Tro we are training our coworkers and implementing teaching material that has a holistic approach in order to take children’s cognitive, social, physical and also their spiritual development into consideration.
- The church has taken up an offering specifically to invest in the rooms that are used by Lygten Kindergarten. This means that the smallest children in the children’s church have access to the lovely and light rooms that fit precisely their needs.
- The church has also worked together with Lygten School so we now have the most interesting and beautiful playground in the entire area. The children simply love the playground on Sundays.
And our vision for the children’s church does not stop here. We want nothing less than to be able to offer the best children’s church in the city! The last period of time our current Children’s Pastor, Amy Hill, has been busy with building Creative Lab, which is a club for the children from the church, their friends, and the children from the local area. We want to release Amy Hill to focus on this area.
We are, therefore, seeking a new Children’s Pastor. The position will be advertised in relevant media in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. We are looking for someone is passionate about and experiences being called to children’s ministry. The candidate is also expected to have leadership experience in relation to leading teams of volunteers so that he/she can lead our children’s church into the next epoch.
